Shopping: Geheimtipp für Geschenke

Meine Mutter hat Geburtstag. Und sie ist geschenktechnisch ein schwieriger Fall. Ausnahmsweise war es aber mal ziemlich easy etwas für sie auszuwählen. Fündig wurde ich auf www.geschenkidee.de. Was ihr vermutlich denkt: "Och ne, noch so eine random Geschenkseite." Hab ich zunächst auch gedacht. Aber es gibt dort wirklich Geschenkidee, die ich vorher noch nie gesehen habe. Und ich habe nicht nur etwas für meine Mutter gefunden, sondern direkt auch schon diverse andere Geschenkideen für den Geburtstag. Next week's my mom's birthday. And it's a bit difficult to find the right present for her. But this time it was quite easy to pick something. I found lots of ideas at www.geschenkidee.de. I know what you're thinking: "Not another random online shop for special presents." At least that's what I thought. But then I discovered some present ideas I haven't seen before. I found some pretty nice things, not only for my mom but also for some other upcoming birthdays. Today I'd like to share my favorite gifts with you. 1 - Frühstückt ihr am Wochenende auch so gerne im Bett? Und schaut dabei eine Serie? Wie geil ist bitte dieses Tablett mit Einsteckmöglichkeit fürs Tablet? Jetzt fehlt in meinem Fall nur noch das Tablet, haha. // Do you like breakfast in bed? And meanwhile watching series? How cool is this tray with build-in slot for a tablet? Though in my case the tablet's still missing, haha.

2 - Bei uns steht die Wäsche immer recht undekorativ im Wohnzimmer herum. Viel hübscher wird die Sache mit diesen geilen Wäscheklammern. // Our laundry usually dries in the living room and doesn't look really decorative. It would look much nicer with these awesome clothes pins. 

3 - Ich verschenke gerne Blumen. Und im Topf halten sie noch etwas länger. Vor allem, wenn sie noch heranwachsen müssen. Schön verpackt gibt es die passende Blume für jeden Anlass: Rosen für Romantiker, Kleeblätter für ein Stückchen Glück oder Katzengras für Catladies. // I like to give away flowers as a present. And in a pot they even last longer. Especially when they have to grow first. These pots with seeds are nicely packaged for every occasion: roses for romantics, cloverleaf for a little bit of luck or cat gras for all those adorable cat ladies out there. 

4 - Pflanzen, die kopfüber hängen. Muss ich mehr sagen? // Plants hanging upside down. Do I have to say more?

5 - Meine Mutter und ihr Mann reisen gerne und viel. So eine Rubbel-Weltkarte würde sich gut im Homeoffice machen. // My mom and her husband like to travel the world. This scratch world map would fit perfectly into their home office.

6 - Normale Blumenvasen stinken dagegen ziemlich ab, oder? // Ordinary vases can't compete with that, right?

7 - Diese Pflanzen haben versteckte Botschaften wie "Happy Birthday", die sichtbar werden, wenn sie heranwachsen. // These plants bear hidden messages like "Happy Birthday" which become visible when they grow.

1 - Zum Familienabend gehören Essen und gerne auch mal Gesellschaftsspiele. Irgendwann hat man aber alle Spiele durch. Wie wäre es dann mal mit einem Krimidinner für daheim? // Food and games are essential parts of a family night. But at some point you get bored of the usual games. 2 - Ok, diese kleinen Tassen sind ein Klassiker. Aber da ist gute Laune doch vorprogrammiert, oder? // Alright, those mugs are classics. But they sure help to get in a good mood, don't they?

3 - Diese Aromagabeln kennt ihr aber noch nicht, oder? Die Gäbelchen werden mit Aromen befüllt und bescheren einem dadurch ganz neue kulinarische Erlebnisse. // You surely haven't seen these aroma forks, have you? 4 - Damit würde ich mich gerne selbst beschenken. Ein molekulares Cocktailset. // That's a present I'd like to give to myself. A molecular cocktail set.

6 - Ich gebe zu, die Verpackung hat mich überzeugt. Aber ich kann mir auch sehr gut vorstellen, wie knallrote Tomaten aus dem silbernen Alukasten wachsen. // I have to admit the packaging convinced me. But then i imagined how bright red tomatoes grow out of that aluminium box.
